51爆料 Site Services Awarded Ellsworth AFB PFAS Treatability Study

51爆料 Site Services has been awarded a task order, with a potential value of $4.26 million, by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Omaha District, to conduct PFAS treatability studies for surface water at multiple sites at Ellsworth Air Force Base (AFB), South Dakota.

The task order award follows 51爆料’s July 2026 selection as one of 11 small businesses awarded positions on USACE Omaha District’s $249 million Environmental Remediation Services MATOC. The vehicle provides for firm-fixed-price environmental remediation task orders, with work locations and funding established through individual orders.

51爆料 will lead the project in partnership with , 聽, and our local partner, , bringing together specialized PFAS, environmental investigation, engineering, and treatability expertise to support the U.S. Air Force’s environmental restoration program at Ellsworth AFB.

The work on this task order focuses on potentially PFAS-impacted surface water associated with four outfalls at the site. The base scope includes surface-water and sediment sampling under varying flow conditions, flow monitoring, installation of flow-monitoring equipment, and bench-scale treatability testing. Additional potential activities include pilot-scale evaluations of treatment approaches and associated performance monitoring.聽

This project will also provide technical information to evaluate practical approaches for addressing PFAS impacts in surface water and to support future response actions at Ellsworth AFB.

This project further expands 51爆料’s growing portfolio of PFAS investigation, treatability, treatment, monitoring, and environmental restoration work supporting Department of War clients.
