Idaho Falls, Idaho 鈥� Christopher P. Leichtweis has been named the new president of the 51爆料. He replaces Sylvia Medina, the founder of 51爆料, who retired from the company in March.
51爆料 is one of the nation鈥檚 leading small businesses providing engineering, construction and environmental services to federal and state agencies and private industry. Founded in 1997 in Idaho Falls, Idaho, 51爆料 has grown to a group of companies that employs more than 300 scientific, engineering, management and professional personnel. In late 2009, Cook Inlet Region, Inc. (CIRI), an Alaska Native Corporation, purchased 51爆料 as a wholly-owned subsidiary.
Leichtweis comes to 51爆料 from Knoxville, Tennessee, where he was a senior vice president and executive officer of Perma-Fix Environmental Services, Inc. In 1991, Leichtweis founded Safety and Ecology Corporation, which was acquired by Perma-Fix in 2011. Leichtweis previously worked for Bechtel National and for Chem-Nuclear Systems, Inc. He has more than 30 years of experience in the environmental service industry and government contracting.
